My story
After Covid, a family from Egham offered their property for a day a week to our wellbeing team for no cost. Throughout that summer, once a week, we got our clinical staff together for a day of restoration, relaxation, and recreation with our wellbeing leaders.
There is a pool, a summer house, beautiful gardens and a Narnia-style forest. Donations from our community enabled 30 clinical staff at a time to take up the offer and they all benefitted from guided conversation, yoga, doing arts and crafts with an artist, drumming, a sensory table, a chair massage, and a pizza van for lunch. In short, a day of restoration, relaxation, and recreation.
